Egyptian-Moroccan forum explores methods to strengthen bilateral cooperation.

An Egyptian-Moroccan forum held Saturday in Cairo explored methods to deepen collaboration between the two nations in order to consolidate the principles of sustainability for an integrated Arab-African economic growth.

The “Egyptian-Moroccan Forum for Arab-African Economic Integration,” organized by the Egyptian-Moroccan Businessmen Association in collaboration with the Foundation of the Children of Morocco in Egypt for Development and the National Union of Self-Employed Entrepreneurs, examined ways to strengthen relations between Egypt and Morocco by exploring new investment opportunities and boosting bilateral cooperation through initiatives and activities affecting all economic sectors.

During the inaugural session, Ismail Abdelaaziz, President of the Egyptian-Moroccan Association of Businessmen, stated that the forum intends to contribute to the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries as part of the strategic relations that bind them.

He emphasized the depth of Moroccan-Egyptian connections on political, cultural, social, and economic levels, complimenting Morocco’s “heroic stands toward Egypt on several occasions.”

Samira Achiri, President of the Foundation of Moroccan Children in Egypt for Development, stated that the meeting focuses on ways to achieve economic integration, which can create real job opportunities and projects for young people through their support in their initiatives to start small businesses.

This forum session follows the success of the International Forum on Development and Coexistence of Peoples, which brought together the cultural, economic, heritage, and tourist sectors, she said, underlining the importance of businesspeople and representatives from professional chambers in this event.
