Rabat and Tangier to host the Club World Cup in February 2023

The Club World Cup, which will be held in Morocco from February 1 to 11, 2023, will be held in the cities of Rabat and Tangier, according to the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF). Although the announcement has not yet been made, all signs point to the two cities indicated above as the front-runners to host this significant Football event.

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation appears to have chosen Tangier and Rabat as the cities to host the 2023 Club World Cup, following Marrakech and Agadir for the 2013 and 2014 competitions.

Although neither the FRMF nor FIFA have officially acknowledged the speculations as of yet, persistent rumors indicate that Tangier and Rabat have been selected.

Morocco will be represented in this competition by Wydad of Casablanca, winner of the CAF Champions League. The other participating clubs are Real Madrid, winner of the UEFA Champions League, Flamengo, winner of the Libretadores Cup, Al Ahly of Egypt, runners-up in the CAF Champions League, the Seattle Sounders, winner of the CONCACAF Champions League, Auckland, winner of the OFC Champions League (Oceania).
