RedOne to Produce Official FIFA Club World Cup Song

RedOne, the stage name of Moroccan superstar Nadir Khayat, is in charge of producing the FIFA Club World Cup’s official song.

RedOne emphasized that “many other” musicians will be on his new soundtrack in response to converging reports linking Morocco’s Asma Lmnawar and Douzi to the song.

RedOne told Morocco World News, “It’s going to [involve] more artists in the same official FIFA song” (MWN).

The release date of the song is still up for debate, he added.

On February 1, the FIFA Club World Cup competition will begin in Morocco.

The tournament’s games will be held in Tangier and Rabat, Morocco, and will feature top football teams like Morocco’s Al Wydad, Spain’s Real Madrid, Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal, and Egypt’s Al Ahly.

The Moroccan producer with multiple Grammy awards recently made headlines around the world with his FIFA World Cup song, “Hayya Hayya” (better together). Trinidad Cardona, Davido, and Aisha all appeared in the song.

In December 2021, RedOne began working for FIFA as a Creative Entertainment Executive.

The official World Cup 2018 anthem, as well as other songs with a football theme, were written by the Moroccan producer.

RedOne not only composes music but also sings and writes lyrics for international superstars.

The Moroccan star worked with numerous well-known musicians as a record producer and songwriter, including Lady Gaga, Akon, Michael Jackson, Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Scherzinger, MIKA, Pitbull, among many others.

RedOne showed imminent support for the Atlas Lions during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, where he attended the national team’s matches.
Morocco’s national team made a historic run during the World Cup and became the first Arab and African team to reach the semi-finals.
