HM the King sends a message of condolences to the Turkish President following the violent earthquake

His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences and compassion to the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, following the violent earthquake that struck the southeastern regions of his country, leaving many victims and injured and causing significant material damage.

In this message, HM the King said he learned with deep emotion and grief the news of the violent earthquake that struck the southeastern regions of Turkey, leaving many victims and injured and causing significant material damage.

On this painful occasion, the Sovereign expresses, on his own behalf and on behalf of the Moroccan people, his deep condolences and sincere feelings of compassion to the Turkish President, and through him, to the grieving families, his feelings of sympathy and solidarity following this natural disaster.

He expressed the Kingdom of Morocco’s active solidarity with the Turkish people in this painful situation. He implored the Almighty to grant a speedy recovery to the injured, to surround the victims with His Holy Mercy and to welcome them into His vast paradise, and to spare Turkey and the Turkish people from any misfortune.
