Ancelotti Says Real Madrid Is Happy to Be in Morocco

Spanish football manager Carlo Ancelotti expressed his joy on behalf of the team, saying they are thrilled to be competing in the FIFA Club World Cup in Morocco. Ancelotti is an Italian who plays for Real Madrid.

In Rabat at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, Ancelotti made his remarks during a press conference.

He started out by saying, “A World Club Cup is a very important event,” and he added that the teams that have made it this far “have done well” to be participating, according to Spanish news outlet El Pais.

He continued by expressing his team’s enthusiasm for traveling to Morocco to compete in the FIFA event. He exclaimed, “We are so excited to be in a country [Morocco] where we have many fans. This is an opportunity to please our fans and end the sporting season on a high note.”

On February 8 at 8 pm Moroccan time, Real Madrid will take on the Egyptian team Al Ahly at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.

Ancelotti expressed respect for their Egyptian rivals by stating that Al Ahly “has a great history, one of the most important in the football world.”

It’s going to be competitive and evenly matched, the football manager predicted, citing Al Ahly’s numerous championships and experience in important tournaments.

The Real Madrid coach also talked about his team’s trying month. He exclaimed, “The demand is high,” adding that the Spanish team is working to analyze their prior performances and “are still growing.”
