In fact, on Saturday, the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Khalid Ait Taleb, sent an urgent directive to the central, regional, and provincial directors and delegates, urging them to take proactive steps to bring medical care and medications closer to the populations affected by weather fluctuations and lessen the effects.

This measure is being implemented in accordance with the Royal Instructions, which call for coordinating efforts to offer the essential relief and assistance to the effected populations in all regions hit by the terrible weather and the recent snowfall.

Ait Taleb recommended that in this regard, both at the national and local levels, human resources and logistics be made available to support this effort.
By turning on the generators installed in the various health facilities and quickly communicating with suppliers of this equipment, the medical, administrative, and technical teams of the Directorate of Planning and Financial Resources and the Directorate of Equipment and Maintenance ensure the provision of all medical equipment and drugs necessary for the care of populations affected by the effects of these weather fluctuations, as well as enough oxygen.
All of the Ministry’s services are working to put into practice the policies, processes, and following approaches employed in these types of situations to lessen the impact of this natural disaster on the populace and assist them in overcoming it with the least amount of harm.
In order to do this, a central directorate of risk management and natural catastrophes will be established as part of a review of the composition, goals, and responsibilities of the central administration of the Ministry.
