OCP Group achieved a turnover of more than MAD 114.5 billion in 2022

Casablanca – The turnover of the OCP group has posted, for the year 2022, an increase of 36% compared to the previous year, to reach more than 114.5 billion dirhams.

The company said that sales prices in all three segments were higher than they had been a year earlier, and that sales volumes had decreased.

At the retail level, Roche’s turnover rose 51% year-on-year, mainly due to higher prices against the backdrop of lower exports to key importing regions, the same source said.

Fertilizer sales went up by 44% this year compared to last, mainly because the prices went up and exports decreased because of the bad economy.

The gross margin was $70.38 billion, up from $55.22 billion the year before. This was mostly due to an increase in sales prices, which offset increases in raw material costs, including ammonia and sulfur.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) increased by 38% to more than 50 billion dirhams in 2021 compared to 36.27 billion in 2021. This improvement was due to higher sales prices and the Group’s operational efficiency. The EBITDA margin was 44% in 2021.

Operating income increased by a lot this year, compared to last.
