Toulouse wishes to split ways with Zakaria Aboukhlal

The recent controversies have caused the Toulouse club to want to cut ties with Zakaria Aboukhlal.

In terms of performance, Toulouse’s Zakaria Aboukhlal signs a nearly flawless season. Simply watch the club’s “highlights” videos to witness a skilled player on an inspiration, a dribble, or a pass to be one of the most effective players on his squad.

For the Moroccan international, however, things are becoming more difficult off the field of play. Is Aboukhlal’s and FC Toulouse’s tale over now? Footmercato reported that the club’s administrators are looking to offload the Moroccan striker as soon as possible despite his contract with the Toulouse club expiring in June 2026. Therefore, we must not rule out the likelihood that it may be moved this summer.

The athlete would have confused himself with an elected official by declining to don the rainbow jersey over the weekend as part of the day of the battle against homophobia. The case involving the TFC player and Laurence Arribagé, the deputy mayor of Toulouse and in charge of sports, was revealed by RMC Sport on Monday.

The separation between Toulouse and Aboukhlal has been finalized, in fact. The player won’t return until the end of this season, but the TFC will make an effort to get off of him this summer. The Moroccan, who is under contract until 2026, also wants to leave, and his successful season should help him to find work abroad, according to the specialized news site.
