King Congratulates Soufiane El Bakkali, 3,000m Steeplechase World Champion

In this message, HM the King expresses His warm congratulations to the world champion for his gold medal won in the 3,000 m steeplechase event at the World Athletics Championships (Budapest 2023), hailing the athlete’s remarkable performance which enabled him to win this world title for the second consecutive time, which represents a source of pride for Moroccan sport.

The Sovereign said He highly appreciated the athlete’s sustained efforts, hard work, determination and great patriotism, which led him to represent his country in the best possible way, and to continue to raise the national flag high at international competitions.
