Lalla Joumala Alaoui Named ‘Ambassador of the Year’ by US-Arab Chamber

Lalla Joumala Alaoui Receives 'Ambassador of the Year' Honor for Strengthening Morocco–U.S. Relations

Under the guidance of HM King Mohammed VI, Lalla Joumala Alaoui has played a pivotal role in enhancing the relationship between Morocco and the United States, emphasized David Hamod, President & CEO of NUSACC, in a recent press release.

According to Mr. Hamod, Lalla Joumala Alaoui’s dedication to fostering international understanding has significantly increased Americans’ appreciation for Morocco, a longstanding ally of the United States. He commended her professional and human qualities, recognizing her as an exceptional Moroccan ambassador.

The enduring relationship between Morocco and the United States, rooted in centuries-old ties, has seen continuous growth across various sectors. A shared vision for the future has contributed to the historic recognition in 2022 by Washington of Morocco’s full sovereignty over its entire territory, including the Southern Provinces.

Established in 2004, the ‘Ambassador of the Year’ distinction is awarded annually by the National US-Arab Chamber of Commerce to a member of the Arab diplomatic corps in the USA for their exceptional contributions to U.S.-Arab commercial relations.

The National US-Arab Chamber of Commerce, founded with the mission to promote, support, and strengthen commercial and economic cooperation between the United States and Arab countries, continues to be a key player in fostering diplomatic and economic ties between nations.
