The Sovereign states in this message that he learned of Professor Khalid Naciri’s passing with great sadness and emotion. Professor Naciri went to be with His Lord after a full life of selfless sacrifice and unwavering devotion to his country.

In this difficult situation, H.M. the King extends His sincere condolences and best feelings of compassion to the deceased’s family, to all of his relatives, and to his large national political family, particularly to the Party of Progress and Socialism. He also asks God to grant the deceased’s family patience and consolation.

HM the King declares that he understands the late Naciri’s family’s distress in this difficult situation, remembering the great deceased with high regard for his accomplishments. With this passing, Morocco has lost one of its most outstanding citizens—a man who loved his country and worked diligently to help it advance—as well as someone who was genuinely committed to upholding its core principles and sacred causes.

The Sovereign continues, “These are his great traits that have qualified the departed, to hold many high positions and missions, whether at the academic, governmental, or diplomatic level, and which he performed with expertise, wisdom, judgment, and skill.”

The Sovereign asks the Almighty to reward the departed generously for his good deeds in service of his country and to include him among the Virtuous during these glorious days of the holy month of Ramadan.
