California: Nurse Tests Positive Following Pfizer Vaccine

On December 18, Matthew W., a nurse in two separate local hospitals, posted on Facebook that posterior to receiving Pfizer vaccine, his hand was in pain for a day, unaccompanied by any other side-effect; he told the ABC News affiliate.

Having said that, the report added that he got chills, muscle aches, and fatigue coming after 6 days following his shift in the COVID-19 unit. He tested positive the day after Christmas.

Christian Ramers, an infectious disease specialist with Family Health Centers of San Diego, informed ABC News affiliate about progressing immunity against the vaccine in 10-14 days; saying that “first dose we think gives you somewhere around 50%, and you need that second dose to get up to 95%.”
