On the evening of the last Friday of Ramadan, Her Excellency Ambassador of Morocco to the Republic of Ghana, Mrs. Iman Ouaadil, hosted a breakfast and evening of prayer and memory at Morocco’s house in Accra.

The President of the Ghanaian Islamic Council, Khalifa Maikano Jallow, representatives of the Greater Imam and the State Mufti of Ghana, Sheikh Noho Sharuputu, the Head of the Ghana Chapter of the Mohammed VI Foundation for African Scientists, a number of parliamentarians, and ambassadors from friendly countries were among those who attended the evening.

Alhaji Abdallah Banda, the Zongo Development Fund’s (ZDF) Presidential Coordinator, Sheikh of Ghana’s Tijani Movement, and a number of former Ghanaian students who studied in Morocco also attended.
The guests broke their fast together, held Moroccan prayers and dinner together, and listened to Tijani Dhikr, recited the Holy Quran, and chanted Al-Burda poem.
At the end of this spiritual evening, Khalifa Maikano Jallow and the attendees prayed to God so that the Almighty may bless His Majesty King Mohammed VI with health and well-being, and that his father, His Majesty the late King Hassan II, may he rest in peace.
