Open Doors for National Security 2023: Artificial intelligence in service of security facilities

The Directorate General of National Security’s attempts to incorporate AI technology into the service of various security institutions are highlighted in the AI Technology Gallery, which is located inside Fez National Security’s open doors.

The operation of the command center, coordination, technological vigilance, and the real-time stream of surveillance cameras in an urban setting are all modeled in this hallway.

In this regard,  Comptroller General Younis Karbid, Head of Technological Vigilance and Methodologies of the Directorate of Information Systems and Communication, explained that the Directorate-General of National Security has incorporated these technologies through the development of a variety of programs as part of the accelerated development of artificial intelligence technology.

In a statement to the Arab Maghreb News Agency, he added that these programs allow for the processing and analysis of saved photos and videos, as well as the real-time flow of surveillance cameras in urban areas, as well as the analysis of traffic through a thorough monitoring of the number of mobile vehicles of all kinds, detect congestion, and thus collect data useful for decision-making.
