Lekjaa Thanks HM the King’s Strategic Vision for National Soccer’s Positive Dynamics

Rabat – The positive dynamics of national soccer is mainly due to the strategic vision of HM King Mohammed VI, said the president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), Fouzi Lekjaa.

His Majesty the King made the announcement to the press on Saturday at the time of the delegation of the Moroccan U-17 national team’s arrival at Rabat-Sale airport. For more than ten years, he has ensured the implementation and funding of the Mohammed VI Football Academy, which has already started to pay off thanks to the presence of seven players in the national U-17 team during the CAN of the category and other talent elements.

African Moroccan Four players from the Mohammed VI Football Academy were on a team that competed in the 2002 World Cup semifinals, he said, adding that “this action and this dynamic are part of the strategic and aggressive vision of HM King Mohammed VI, whose benefits we are reaping today.

“The Moroccan U-17 team has shown great combativeness and tactical discipline during this CAN. The players have been the best ambassadors of a great nation, whose civilization dates back more than 12 centuries and which is moving towards progress and development, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI”, he added.
