Morocco Condemns Armed Attack at Washington Event Attended by Trump

(Nathan Howard/Getty Images) Rabat – Morocco has strongly condemned the armed attack that targeted a reception in Washington attended by Donald Trump, according to a source from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates.
The Moroccan government expressed its full solidarity with Trump and his family, as well as with the government and people of the United States. It described the incident as a serious act of violence and reaffirmed its support for the country during this difficult moment.
Morocco also stressed its firm position against all forms of violence, extremism, and terrorism. It reiterated that such acts cannot be justified under any circumstances, regardless of their source or motivation.
The Kingdom emphasized the importance of international cooperation to combat threats to security and stability. It called for continued efforts to promote peace and prevent acts of violence around the world.
