Morocco’s House of Councillors Speaker Represents King at Gabon Conference Palace Opening
Mohammed Ould Errachid and Omar Bongo Ondimba Libreville – Speaker of Morocco’s House of Councillors, Mohamed Ould Errachid, represented King Mohammed VI on Sunday at the official inauguration of the “Omar Bongo Ondimba” Conference Palace in Libreville, Gabon.
The ceremony was attended by several heads of state, foreign delegations, members of the diplomatic corps, as well as civil and military officials.
On this occasion, Ould Errachid conveyed the Moroccan King’s greetings to Gabonese President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, marking the inauguration of what was described as an important institutional landmark for Gabon.
He also reaffirmed Morocco’s commitment to its strong friendship and cooperation with Gabon, highlighting the shared will to further strengthen bilateral relations in support of development, stability, and African cooperation.
The event reflects ongoing diplomatic engagement between Rabat and Libreville and the broader strengthening of Morocco’s partnerships across the African continent.
