Nasser Bourita meets his Malian counterpart carrying a written message from the interim president of Mali to His Majesty the King
Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Abdoulaye Diop, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Mali, on Monday in Rabat, presenting a letter to HM King Mohammed VI from the interim president of Mali, Mr. Assimi Goita.
Following his talks with Mr. Nasser Bourita, the head of Malian diplomacy said he was proud to deliver “to His Majesty King Mohammed VI the message of peace, friendship, solidarity, and brotherhood sent to him by His Excellency Assimi Goita, President of the Interim Period, Head of State of Mali, with his fraternal greetings.”

His sincerest wishes for happiness to His Majesty the King, as well as growth and prosperity to the brotherly Moroccan people.
Following that, the two ministers emphasized the Kingdom of Morocco’s and the Republic of Mali’s profound historical ties.
Abdoulaye Diop, restated his country’s unwavering support regarding the Sahara issue, for a political just and long-term solution to the dispute under the auspices of the United Nations. The Moroccan Sahara is a topic of discussion.
