SNRT Secures Broadcast Rights for Morocco’s 2026 World Cup Matches
Morocco’s national public broadcaster, Société Nationale de Radiodiffusion et de Télévision, has secured the rights to broadcast the Moroccan national football team’s matches at the 2026 FIFA World Cup following negotiations with Qatar’s beIN Sports, the official rights holder in the region.
The agreement allows SNRT to transmit matches involving the Atlas Lions during the global tournament. However, the broadcaster did not specify whether coverage will include only the group stage or extend to potential knockout rounds, depending on Morocco’s progress in the competition.
The announcement reinforces SNRT’s role as the primary national platform for broadcasting major football events involving the Moroccan team.
Earlier, SNRT had also obtained exclusive broadcasting rights for Morocco’s international friendly against Norway scheduled for June 7, 2026, at the Red Bull Arena in New Jersey, USA, with kickoff set for 8:00 p.m.
