Israeli Air Force Commander arrives to Morocco for official visit with senior military delegation

Tomer Bar, the general commander of the Israeli Air Force, met Abed Alaoui Bouhamid, the inspector of the Royal Air Force, while in Morocco on an official trip with a senior military delegation.

Morocco and Israel came to an agreement to build F16 and F5 fighters, of which the Royal Air Force has a fleet, by supplying them with advance technology and enhancing their simulation and flight abilities.

This trip follows the first annual steering committee of the defense establishment working with Morocco in Rabat, where the two nations decided to strengthen their military ties.

As Rabat is close to acquiring the most recent generation of “Bluebird” unmanned aircraft, on which the Israeli Air Force depends, the Kingdom is betting on gaining from Israeli expertise in the security and defense sectors.
