WAC jet was forced to make an emergency landing in Gabon

On its route from the Congo to Morocco, a jet carrying the WAC football team was forced to stop in Libreville, the capital of Gabon, due to a mechanical issue.

In the fifth round of the group stage of the CAF Champions League, WAC faced up against Vita Club in Congo.

According to Hesport’s sources, the pilot had to make an emergency landing at Libreville Airport.

According to the same sources, the team will depart Libreville for Casablanca Airport on Sunday after rerouting the malfunctioning aircraft.
