The 27-year-old right-back suffered a right thigh injury during Tuesday’s dramatic first-leg encounter in Paris. According to an official PSG statement, medical examinations conducted on Wednesday revealed a hamstring tear, forcing the player to remain under treatment in the coming weeks.
Hakimi sustained the injury late in the match, in the 89th minute, following a challenge with Konrad Laimer. He was unable to continue after the incident, raising immediate concerns about his availability for the return leg.
His absence comes as a major setback for PSG ahead of one of their most important matches of the season. Despite this blow, the French champions hold a slight advantage after securing a thrilling 5–4 victory in the first leg at home.
While Hakimi is ruled out for the upcoming fixture, reports suggest he could return in time for the final if PSG successfully qualifies.
PSG will now have to adjust defensively as they aim to secure their place in the Champions League final without one of their key players.
