Mamounia Hotel ranks as the best in the world

According to the rankings provided by the American magazine Condé Nast Travels, the Mamounia Hotel in Marrakech has been named the World’s Best Hotel for 2021.

The Mamounia Hotel in Marrakesh has preserved its distinction as one of the world’s most distinguished hotels since its establishment in 1923. This opulent hotel has won plenty of major honors over the years, the most recent of which came last week when it was named “the best hotel in the world” and won Condé Nast Traveler’s “Readers’ Choice Award.”

The choice was left to the magazine’s 429,0000 readers, who voted the iconic hotel the finest in the world and the best in Africa with 99.77 percent of the vote.

From kings and statesmen to an endless number of celebrities, the Mamounia Hotel has hosted some of the world’s most prominent personalities.

Winston Churchill, who was considered to be one of his biggest fans, described the hotel as “one of the most beautiful places in the world” in a letter to US President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

From Charlie Chaplin and Ray Charles to Yves Saint Laurent and Paul McCartney, perhaps his most famous guest was Winston Churchill, who was considered to be one of his biggest fans. The Mamounia Hotel has long been regarded as the ideal place to stay for welfare.

This hotel has stayed true to its original design over the years. It is located near the historic Jamaa Lafna Square and has a grand total 209 rooms (including 71 suites and three riads), as well as the Royal Gardens and luxurious Moroccan baths – this place has stood the test of time as the world’s only hotel of its kind, which is unsurprising given the unique style of Andalusian Arab architecture and Morocco’s famed hospitality.
