Tourism: Morocco awarded in New Delhi “best scenic country in the world”

The Kingdom of Morocco received the “World’s Best Scenic Country” award at an event organised on Friday in New Delhi by the Indian travel magazine Travel Jingles.

The award was presented to the representative of the Moroccan embassy in New Delhi by the dean of the diplomatic corps in India, the ambassador of Eritrea.

The Diplomatic Awards 2023 event, organised by Travel Jingles, was graced by the participation of ambassadors and diplomats from various countries as well as renowned personalities from the tourism industry.

On this occasion, the Moroccan embassy in New Delhi was keen to present the assets and the famous tourist attractions which the Kingdom abounds in and to highlight the rich culture, the breathtaking landscapes and the dynamism, the charm and the originality of the Moroccan cities and towns.

According to the Moroccan diplomatic representation, this consecration confirms the position of Morocco as a world tourist destination.

The event, the same source adds, was also an opportunity to attract the attention of the tourist operators, to present them the authentic offer of Morocco’s destination and to throw light on the cultural heritage of the Moroccan cities and the advantages granted in terms of offer, accommodation and tourist activities.

“Travel Jingles” is a famous Indian magazine, specialised in tourism and travel, which acts as a bridge between the diplomatic representations, the professionals of the tourism sector and the travellers.
