The number of people detained over irregular migration attempts in the city of Fnideq and its surrounding areas has risen to 294, according to a provisional tally recorded as of 2:45 p.m. Saturday.
According to sources, those detained include 248 candidates for irregular migration from sub-Saharan African countries, in addition to 46 Moroccan nationals.
The same sources noted that this tally remains provisional, as security operations continue involving various security services and public forces in Fnideq and its surrounding areas, aimed at preventing irregular migration attempts toward occupied Sebta.
