Morocco Cultural Heritage Protection Deal Signed
The agreement aims to protect Morocco’s museums and historic objects from crime. It focuses on art forgery, theft and the illegal trade in archaeological and artistic works.
The two institutions will also improve security at national museums. They will work together to ensure the safe transport of valuable artefacts.
Sharing Expertise and Training
The agreement also supports joint training and the exchange of knowledge. Security staff will learn more about how criminals forge artworks and trade them illegally.
Meanwhile, the FNM will provide technical support to the National Security Museum. This support aims to highlight the history of Morocco’s national security services.
Protecting Morocco’s Cultural Heritage
During the ceremony, both officials stressed the importance of protecting Morocco’s historical heritage. They also called for closer cooperation between security services and cultural institutions.
The partnership aims to preserve the Kingdom’s cultural identity and protect its heritage for future generations.
