Vice-President of the Saudi State Security received by Hammouchi
Tuesday in Rabat, Abdullah Fahad Salih Al-Owais, Vice-President of Saudi State Security, who is leading a sizable security delegation on a working visit to Morocco, was welcomed by Abdellatif Hammouchi, Director General of Territorial Surveillance.
According to a press release from the Direction General of Territorial Surveillance, the delegation from Saudi Arabia includes the general directors of the departments fighting extremism and international cooperation as well as experts and security officials from the Saudi Arabian State Security (DGST).

This visit, which demonstrates the depth and strength of relations of cooperation in intelligence and security coordination between the DGST and the Saudi State Security Presidency, According to the same source, both parties share a desire to advance bilateral cooperation in support of the safety and security of their respective citizens.
A cooperation agreement between the DGST and the Saudi Presidency of State Security in the area of the fight against terrorism and its financing was signed by Mr. Hammouchi and the vice-president Mr. Salih Al-Owais at the conclusion of the visit. The organization and growth of security cooperation and coordination in numerous areas related to counterterrorism and terrorist financing operations are the main foci of the convention, it is further stated.
The statement concludes that STB and the Presidency of Saudi State Security intend to strengthen their security and intelligence relationships and coordinate efforts to combat terrorism and extremism in order to deny terrorist organizations any support, recruitment opportunities, or financial resources.
