The Government Council approved the draft Finance Bill for the 2027 fiscal year during a meeting held on Tuesday, chaired by Head of Government Fatima Zahra Mansouri.
The draft legislation, numbered 60.26, was presented by Fouzi Lekjaa, Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget.
According to a statement by government spokesperson Samir Belfkih, the council discussed and approved the draft bill during the meeting.
The approval marks a step in the legislative process for the 2027 budget. Further details on the bill’s provisions were not included in the announcement.
